    Warm staff, missed care issues

I had a mixed experience. Many staff were warm, responsive and communicative, dining and activities were decent, and rehab/COVID responses were prompt - but I also saw missed medications, inadequate nursing, understaffing, dirty rooms/odors and privacy lapses, plus rude administration, so I would be cautious.

    About Westbury Conyers

Westbury Health & Rehab of Conyers sits at 1420 Milstead Road in Conyers, Georgia, where staff help older adults with both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, and there's a focus on making sure everyone gets the health care or daily help they need, whether you're recovering after a hospital visit or living with a complex condition that means you need skilled nursing. The staff is licensed and keeps an eye on every detail, from making sure medications are given out correctly with low error rates below 5 percent, to setting up careful pain management plans for those who need them, so if someone's hurting or uncomfortable, there's a clear process to help. They offer things like infection control to stop the spread of illnesses, including strong procedures developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they work to protect the rights of residents, so families can count on respectful care and clear communication. The environment includes clean, air-conditioned rooms that are set up for comfort, there are dining options with nutritious food, the building is wheelchair accessible, and essentials like restrooms and parking are available onsite, plus they accept credit cards if paying that way is easier for anyone. People who need a break at home or someone to watch their loved one for a little while can use respite care here, and the skilled nursing facility helps people who are very frail by giving close attention, or helps those recovering after a hospital stay get strong enough to go home again, and the staff seems well-trained to help each person get the care they need, working hard so residents feel at home. Westbury Conyers is also a member of the Geriatric Healthcare Care Association, which means they take part in professional standards and keep up with the kind of practices you'd expect at an established care home. In general, the focus is on safe, respectful, and reliable care, with extra attention paid to making people comfortable, protecting their health, and offering support that fits each person, no matter how long they plan to stay.
