Helpful staff; inconsistent care, disappointing
I appreciated the helpful, caring staff, a professional Occupational Therapy team, good food, a very clean facility and lots of activities. But my overall experience was mixed: CNAs were inconsistent, call bells often took too long, dentures and diaper care were neglected, an open skin tear went unnoticed until days before discharge, and clothing was lost with defensive staff. Maintenance and management issues (shared/cracked/stained toilet, potholes, poor parking) and signs of staff being overworked and under-trained left me disappointed compared with the “happy living” I expected.
