    Clean facility, poor care, unsafe

I was here for short‑term rehab — the building was clean, the food was delicious, and therapy took up most of the day in small, old rooms. Care was substandard: unresponsive call lights, missing bed alarms, poor communication, inexperienced staff (Courtney), medication errors, and hygiene neglect (wet gowns, feces, and a head‑fungus issue left uncleaned). My loved one had falls and a seizure, required ER/hospitalization, and we experienced resident theft; DHEC and the administrator became involved. Elizabeth was compassionate, but overall staff/management were poor — I’d only consider returning for short‑term therapy and only with extreme caution.

    About Dundee Manor

Dundee Manor sits as a senior living provider that really focuses on keeping a comfortable and supportive setting for its residents, using special names like "Dundee Manor" for its buildings and known for a kind approach. You'll find 24-hour support and help that changes based on what each person needs, and staff will work to keep independence while still making sure care is there, with personal care plans and regular check-ins from caregivers, nurses, and even therapists. Dundee Manor gives people choices for how much care they want, so you can find independent living, assisted living, or even memory care units for those who need extra support with things like dementia. The building's got an emergency call system, private apartments, shared dining rooms, and some common areas like a wellness center, community rooms with their own names, and secure spaces for residents who might wander. The open courtyard space lets folks spend time outside safely. Each type of help, such as residential care, memory care, and skilled nursing, uses special terms and spots in the building, so each resident feels safe and gets the kind of help they actually need. Dundee Manor has in-house food service, serving daily meals, along with programs and activities aimed at keeping everyone engaged and happy. The staff spends a lot of time on personal attention, health, and dignity, organizing therapy or short-term rehab services if a person needs to recover from injury or surgery. For families caring for someone at home, Dundee Manor offers respite care, where a loved one can stay for a short period if the main caregiver needs a break. The management tries to keep a clean, inviting place where residents' comfort and quality of life come first, and there's ongoing coordination between the doctors, therapists, and staff to help with any medical or personal needs as they come up, always aiming for safety, convenience, and a real sense of home.
