Everlasting Services has all sorts of options for seniors, because you can find board and care homes tucked right into neighborhoods for folks who like a quiet spot with only a handful of residents, or you can choose bigger senior living communities if you're after more social activities and different levels of care, starting from independent living, where you get a maintenance-free lifestyle with lots of amenities, to assisted living where there's help with daily things like bathing, dressing, taking medicine, and meals, and all the way up to skilled nursing, which brings round-the-clock medical care, physical and occupational therapy, rehab, and wound care, so there's always someone trained nearby. They've got special memory care setups, too, with programs and activities for people living with Alzheimer's or dementia, and those places focus on reducing confusion and keeping folks safe and engaged, with memory activities and secure environments to help prevent wandering, which can be reassuring for families. Animal lovers will like that there are pet-friendly places, plus most spots allow for Wi-Fi and are set up for wheelchairs or walkers, so folks can stay connected and move about safely, and there's always good dining options nearby since these community homes are close to shopping and restaurants. Everlasting Services also covers other needs, like brain injury assisted living and support for survivors, and staff keeps up with training so residents get the best care, and the focus is always on dignity, compassion, and individual support, whether that means help with daily routines, social activities, or care for complicated health needs. Technology helps out, too, with internet and cell phone plans for seniors, security features around the home, and medical alert systems in use, while practical resources like Medicare, Medicaid, financial help, travel tips, discount guides, and brain injury advocacy are available, so families and residents both have plenty of options and guidance as needs change, and it's all set in a friendly, neighborly setting, with easy access to support for everyone.
Homey spotless care with issues
I moved my dad here and found it homey, spotless, with excellent meals, frequent menu changes, lots of activities, and warm, accommodating staff-on-site services (hair, podiatry), memory-care support, and a low entry fee made it good value. However, administration and communication were inconsistent, staffing/leadership sometimes inexperienced or absent, and there were troubling reports about medication management, security/theft, and confusing pricing/contract details. Overall I'd recommend it for the atmosphere and care-just get clear answers on meds, security, and fees before you commit.
