    Caring staff but outdated facility

I appreciated the owners and many of the staff - they were caring, friendly, and my family member clicked with them, and the hands-on care was good. That said, the facility is old with run-down furniture, shared bedrooms with a potty, a patio door right by a smoker, and generally outdated amenities. Staff also gave incorrect information about Arizona laws and seemed uninformed, so I cannot recommend this place.

About Morning Glory Adult Care Homes

Morning Glory Adult Care Homes is a small group home in Mesa, Arizona, with a focus on adult care, assisted living, and memory care services, and the place includes facilities with names like Arlington Rose LLC, Ark of Angel Assisted Living, and Arizona Premier Adult Care II for Alzheimer's care, and they also feature Better Living Carehome LLC, A New Season Adult Care Home, and Allegiance Hospice Care Inc for more specialized needs, so the community gives support like assisted living, hospice, palliative care, respite care, and independent living, and you'll find specific services such as medication management, incontinence care, non-ambulatory care, diabetic and high acuity care, along with help for daily activities, all provided in comfortable houses owned and run by a husband and wife who've cared for seniors since 1987. Morning Glory makes a point of having a low resident-to-caregiver ratio, with caregivers always on duty and trained closely by the owners, and the houses allow only up to six residents for more personalized care, so every person gets plenty of attention, plus residents can choose from private, semiprivate, or one-bedroom suites, with private baths and walk-in showers, and each suite has its own individual temperature controls, and you get healthy meals served family-style from the kitchen, with kosher and vegetarian options. Everyone has access to transportation, parking, wheelchair accessible showers, beauty and barber services, plus nice indoor spaces like a big living room with a TV, a piano room, and a library, along with outdoor common areas for fresh air, and they let residents live with close pets too. They offer activities both on-site and off-site to keep people social, active, and engaged, and there's even access to a day care center during the day right there on the campus, without extra charge, which is good for folks who only need daytime care, and they provide overnight respite stays when caregivers at home need a short break. The facility aims to promote safety, health, independence, and joy in daily life, with a warm, home-like atmosphere and a reputation for keeping everything clean-including spotless floors and counters-and for keeping families informed about their loved ones, and you'll find that only male or female residents are allowed in a particular community, depending on the location, to better fit everyone's needs. Morning Glory Adult Care Homes has received awards like Best of Senior Living and Best of Senior Living All Star for high-quality care, and the staff are known for being friendly, kind, and helpful, plus they serve nutritious meals planned by chefs, and support residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being with a variety of therapies including physical, occupational, and speech therapy handled by health professionals, with nurses, doctors on call, podiatrists, and dentists visiting as needed. They tailor care for seniors, especially those with Alzheimer's or other dementias, and make sure each resident's health and happiness are central to daily life, so the whole place really tries to keep things comfortable, supportive, and safe, all while emphasizing independence and personal attention in a real home setting.
