    Compassionate caring home, highly recommended

I placed my mom at Angel Care Home and it was the best decision I made. The staff treated her like family-kind, patient, compassionate, invaluable-working wonderfully with hospice and even attending her funeral. It felt like home with homemade meals, companionship, organized appointments, and real peace of mind. Beautiful place, worth every penny; I highly recommend them.

    About Angel Care Home

Angel Care Home sits in Phoenix, Arizona, and is run by Ciara Warner, a third-generation owner who's a nurse with a background in psychology, so that helps shape things so that the place mixes medical knowledge with a caring attitude, and there's a real sense of treating people with respect and dignity, where you're not a number, you're a neighbor, and the home never gets too big or busy since they only have room for ten residents, which means the team, including detail-focused staff like Anthony, can focus on making sure everyone gets exactly the kind of help or support they need, whether it's assisted living, memory care for dementia or Alzheimer's, or more hands-on nursing with around-the-clock coverage from live-in staff and on-site healthcare from nurses or doctors. People who live there can choose a private room with its own bathroom or stay in a semi-private space, all already furnished, with cable, wifi, and clean linens, so there's no worry about those little things, and the big hallways, wide doors, and garden paths that fit a wheelchair make it easy for anyone to get where they need, including out to a backyard with a peaceful fountain, shaded sitting spots and a courtyard with fruit trees, a waterfall, and even an herb garden that's wheelchair-friendly. Residents don't have to leave if their needs change because all three levels of care-assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing-are handled right there, and respite care helps families who need a break for a short while. Meals are made from good, quality ingredients, and there are community activities every day, planned events, and memory-boosting activities for folks who need them, along with a mobility program to keep everyone moving, and staff are trained under Ciara's eye to really watch for each person's unique needs so they can help with medication, daily tasks, bathing, toileting, and even wound care or rehabilitation if it comes to that. You get transportation to medical appointments, scheduled visits with doctors, and housekeeping service to keep up with laundry and cleaning, so there's not much for residents to worry about, and everyone still gets privacy either in their room or out in the shaded garden, depending on whether they want company or quiet, and there's always someone close by to help out or just chat for a while. The single-story building keeps things easy for people who don't want to worry about stairs, and the atmosphere is about feeling at home while being safe, with plenty of attention from people who want you to feel like you belong, and Angel Care Home carries a license for ten residents, which is their set limit, so that each person gets the kind of focused attention you can't get in a bigger facility. The management team, with dedicated caregiver and nurse staff, keeps close contact with families and makes sure living there feels like an extension of home, and the home's own website has pictures and a video you can look at if you want to get a feel for what life is like there, with a strong emphasis on safety, independence, kindness, and a sense of belonging that's been carried on for more than twenty-seven years.
