About El Rancho Encanto Assisted Living

El Rancho Encanto Assisted Living sits on East Fort Lowell Road in Tucson, Arizona, near the Old Fort Lowell area, surrounded by the desert and mountains, and it's made up of two large, well-furnished homes, one licensed for 8 residents and another for 10, making it a place that's quiet and not crowded, with paved walking paths, gardens, and open outdoor spaces where you can just go for a stroll or sit and watch the views, and the houses are all handicap accessible so folks using wheelchairs or walkers will find it easier to get around. Trained staff offer 24-hour care and help with things like bathing, dressing, getting in and out of bed, and managing medicine, and there's always someone awake at night in case anybody needs help. El Rancho Encanto provides daily homemade meals, and if a resident has a diet for diabetes or high blood pressure, or allergies, they'll adjust the meals as needed, and meals are served in a dining room, but all-day dining is available. Residents get help with household chores like cleaning, laundry, and even dry cleaning, plus staff can arrange for move-in help and handle transportation for medical appointments, shopping, or church, and they coordinate healthcare needs with outside providers. For social life, there are community-sponsored activities, fitness programs, music therapy, movie nights, craft days, pet therapy, board games, and regular evening events, so there's a schedule for people who want to join in and plenty of ways to stay active and connected, including a recreation room, book room, hot tub, and areas for hobbies. There's memory care for people with cognitive issues, respite and hospice care services, and support for those who need help transferring or managing mobility and fall prevention. The community's fully furnished, rooms come with cable TV and Wi-Fi, there's a barber or salon on site, and even a mobile hairdresser and special events now and then, and every resident has a personalized care plan meant to fit their needs, with care from trained caregivers focused on things like medication, bathing, and making sure basic health and safety needs are met. El Rancho Encanto is not ALTCS approved, but it's part of the Arizona Care Alliance, and does offer professional placement agent referrals, and even though the neighborhood is mostly low-income, the facility tries to make the living spaces comfortable and the environment welcoming and social, with safety features like emergency alert systems and monitored entrances, so folks can feel supported and secure while enjoying their independence as much as possible.
