Memory care is available in a special neighborhood built in 2020, offering secure outdoor areas, alert systems for wandering, and rooms that are the biggest you'll find for memory support in Yuma, with trained staff providing daily check-ins and personalized care for folks with Alzheimer's or dementia, and the assisted living side covers help with bathing, dressing, medications, mobility, and other daily needs, with options so people can decide what support they want. Nurses are on duty 12-16 hours a day, and there's a 24-hour call system, so help's never far off if needed, which gives peace of mind to everyone involved, and staff can speak English and other languages for clear communication. Housekeeping, laundry, and even dry cleaning are available, plus a concierge to help with details or answer questions, including support for families figuring out the best options, though Yuma Senior Living isn't ALTCS eligible at this time, but placement agents will help connect families with the right kind of care, payment help, veterans' benefits, or home care if needed. Outside, there's plenty to do with fitness and walking paths, a community garden, spaces for devotion, and several outdoor seating areas, all part of the recent renovations, and the place is kept clean and modern.
