    About Viewcrest Resort

Viewcrest Resort offers several types of senior living, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and respite care for those who need short-term help, and this place has a mix of shared and private rooms with floor plans that come as studios, or you can get a one-bedroom or even a two-bedroom if you want some extra space, and it's been around since 1975 but it got a renovation back in 2014 to freshen things up for everybody who lives there. There's a lot to do here because there's a library, a fitness center, a private park for fresh air, a swimming pool, and a tennis court, and folks can also use indoor and outdoor maintenance services or get help with gardening if they feel like putting their hands in the dirt. Viewcrest Resort has a strong focus on memory care-there's a secure environment for people with Alzheimer's or dementia, with high-tech wander guards and safety features to keep everyone safe, and the staff offers specialized activities and group therapy for both residents and their families along with full 24-hour care and supervision. For anyone who may struggle with medications or daily activities, staff provide reminders, monitoring, and personal care, and they're used to helping those who have behavioral challenges or need a little extra help to stay safe, even staff who speak Romanian, Portuguese, and Filipino are available if that makes things easier for someone. There's care for folks with diabetes, incontinence, and speech or occupational therapy from visiting therapists to help residents stay active. If someone likes vegetarian meals, that's on the menu, and pets are also allowed in the memory care areas which makes it a little more like home for some people. Common areas are available inside and outside for socializing, and there's always something happening since both on-site and off-site activities are planned, plus devotional services and activities offered away from the building if a person's interested, and regular transportation makes it easier for residents and visitors to come and go. The whole place can serve up to 30 residents, which means most folks get to know each other pretty well over time.
