    Clean facility compassionate staff pricey

I moved my mom into Sunrise of Belmont and overall I'm pleased. The building is beautiful, very clean and well-maintained with a warm, restaurant-style dining room, lovely grounds and lots of activities that keep residents engaged. The caregivers are compassionate, attentive, and often go above and beyond - memory care felt especially safe and professional, and leadership has been responsive. Downsides: apartments are modest, pricing is high, and there have been occasional communication/staff-availability issues. Despite that, I trust the care and would recommend it.

    About Ivy Park at Belmont

Ivy Park at Belmont stands on a quiet property with nice landscaping, a paved circular driveway, and walking paths, so residents have spots to enjoy fresh air and peaceful views, and you'll see seating on a porch with wicker chairs and a cozy area outside. The building's three stories hold studio and one-bedroom apartments sized between 279 and 513 square feet, and these spaces have features like accessible showers, full tubs, and room for pets under a pet-friendly policy, and there's on-site maintenance to keep things running smoothly. Meals come restaurant-style in an elegant dining room or at the Vine at Ivy Bistro, with choices for special diets like low sugar or no sodium, a hydro spa, beautician services, housekeeping both daily and weekly, and room service for days someone prefers eating in.

Professionally trained staff provide different levels of support, from independent living for active seniors to assisted living for people who need help with bathing, dressing, or medication, and they offer respite, home care, and hospice as options. Ivy Park at Belmont focuses on memory care too, through their Evergreen at Ivy area, and they have the EverYou program and other therapies that use sensory rooms and reminiscence activities to help people with dementia or Alzheimer's keep a sense of comfort and routine, with enclosed areas to prevent wandering.

Residents find spaces to relax or get together, like the library with a computer station, a TV lounge, activity and social rooms, a beauty salon, and an outdoor common space with a garden and raised beds for anyone interested in gardening. Social, educational, and entertainment events fill the community calendar, and there's transportation and parking for outings and appointments, including complimentary rides or paid options. Religious services, including Catholic and other faiths, happen both onsite-with a visiting chaplain-or offsite, and staff support spiritual needs. Pet care and walking services are available, and all residents get laundry and housekeeping, plus an emergency response system for safety. Ivy Park at Belmont puts an emphasis on letting each resident keep as much independence as possible, with services adapted to personal needs, aiming for both comfort and fulfilling days for everyone, whether they want privacy or community activities.
