    Compassionate care, improving but imperfect

I placed my mom in this new facility opened this year and, despite a shaky start and a few incidents that required intervention, the compassionate, high‑quality caregivers and an administrator who’s present daily have been very supportive—helping her settle in and learn her routine. The home is clean, organized and friendly, with barbecues and social events my mom can join, and staff generally treat residents like family. My only gripe is staff sometimes focus more on visitors than the resident, but overall care and responsiveness are improving.
