Royal Terrace Health Care sits as a for-profit facility and provides all sorts of care and support for older adults, so you get things like assisted living, nursing home help, and health programs meant for seniors, and they have nursing services with about 0.3 Registered Nurse hours and 3.71 Certified Nursing Assistant hours per resident, but no information for the Licensed Practical Nurse hours, and you'll find help with things like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, plus they offer laundry and dry cleaning, and there's usually room staff to help out wherever needed if daily things get tough. The property's got rooms with housekeepers, kitchens or kitchenettes, washers and dryers, a dining room, and safety features like handrails and sprinklers, and you can spend time in the game room, fitness center, or the salon and barbershop, and you'll find WiFi and cable TV for staying connected, with guest parking outside if family wants to visit. The staff oversees things like medication, wound care, IV therapy, diabetic care, and pain management groups, and you get physical and occupational therapy, plus specialized medical gear if needed, and they can bring in podiatrists or arrange for insurance using long-term care plans. You can join arts and crafts, health classes, and group meal activities, and there are transportation rides if you need to go somewhere, and their health, safety, and quality records include vaccination rates, pressure sore numbers, and restraint usage, which they check to help keep people safe. Royal Terrace Health Care is not part of a hospital, and it's not a continuing care retirement community, nor is it a special focus facility, but they're allowed to take Medicare and Medicaid, which can help with payments. The place has 58 certified beds with about 54 folks staying there at any time, so occupancy stays close to 93%, which means it's almost always close to full, and their resident and family councils give people a way to talk about life there and help with decisions. Staff tries to make the place stable and fulfilling for each person, focusing on servant leadership and personalized care, with in-person and computer meeting options for families who can't always visit. The whole building has fire sprinklers and safety upgrades throughout, and maintenance keeps things working right for everyone, and people say care is steady and focused on making the health journey more comfortable and secure for each person there.

Disrespectful, unsafe care; avoid facility
I had a mixed but mostly negative experience. A few nurses and caretakers were kind and professional, but many staff were disrespectful, mocking, and abusive - Nurse Gloria and the social worker were unhelpful (the social worker even hung up). I also saw medication and safety lapses, delayed medical care that led to hospitalization/intubation, and cleanliness concerns, so I wouldn't trust them with a sick loved one.
