    Personalized loving care, spacious rooms

I'm so grateful to the loving, stable staff and compassionate owner - they gave personalized, prompt care (even a 3am visit) that felt like family. The rooms are spacious and the interior and exterior look great after improvements; it's cozy and home-like, not fancy, and our top choice in Marin.

    About Golden Home

Golden Home sits on Las Gallinas Avenue in the Terra Linda neighborhood of San Rafael, California, where folks can find a range of living options including apartments, townhomes, and condos with anywhere from one up to four bedrooms, and some places come with things like washers and dryers, air conditioning, fitness centers, gated entries, and even pools and patios, though there isn't always much info about parking, building layout, or exactly what's in each unit, so people might want to check those details when they get there. Golden Home belongs to the Social Care Network and uses a specialized social care platform, so families can look up services, refer loved ones, and even suggest or claim programs suited to what's needed, and the facility values privacy and accessibility with clear policies about them.

Residents at Golden Home can get many kinds of care from assisted living and memory care to nursing home services, along with hospice and home health help, and the team can assist with things like bathing, grooming, dressing, medication management, and help for those who might get confused or need help with walking. The community likes to keep folks active with recreational programs and offers support for those who need more attention, such as those with incontinence, all while aiming to create a warm place where connections form and each person's comfort and safety matter. Golden Home has pet-friendly apartments and acknowledges that pets can be an important part of life for some tenants, though sometimes the specific pet policy can change and people should check it in each case.

People living at Golden Home can expect independent living if that's what's right for them, but there's always staff ready to offer personal support for day-to-day needs, and care plans are tailored to fit the unique situation of each resident, whether someone's looking at assisted living, memory care, nursing help, or continuing care. The facility tries to keep elders comfortable and supports their health as they age, keeping a focus on compassion and attentive care in all they do. Golden Home's environment welcomes those who use canes or walkers, has a commitment to safety and fostering a sense of community, and serves the broader San Rafael area with a mix of support services for seniors and their families. Exceptions or unknowns about the buildings-like how many floors there are, what's offered outside, or which utilities are included-are best explored by asking for the latest, as some information isn't always available.
