    Hands-on owners provide loving care

I placed my mother at Princeville and couldn't be happier. The hands-on owners Myriam and Lee (and caregivers Karl and Honey) lead a professional, loving team that provides one-on-one, thorough personal and medication assistance in a small, non-institutional, light-filled home. It's clean, safe, respectful, and full of family-style activities (dining together, cards, movies, live music); it's expensive but worth it - I highly recommend Princeville.

    About Princeville Senior Care

Princeville Senior Care sits in both Seal Beach and Westminster, California, in quiet neighborhoods near the coast of North Orange County. The facility runs out of two custom-built residential homes, each holding up to six seniors, which helps keep things personal and attentive so people living there don't get lost in the shuffle. Princeville Senior Care accepts seniors who need everything from independent living support to assistance with daily routines, memory and dementia care, and even long-term nursing support or hospice care. Staff manage all the basics like meals, laundry, and housekeeping, and they help people remember their medications, get dressed, and handle other personal needs. Each resident gets a care plan made for them before moving in, built around their own health and routines. The homes are managed by Oliver Myriam, and nurses and care staff are always available to help with health or day-to-day issues.

The setting feels a lot like a family home, with home-cooked meals, fresh baked goods, and group activities like stretching, exercise, and games designed to keep people's minds and bodies working. Live music and other activities happen frequently. Residents can stay in private rooms, shared rooms, or suites with their own bathrooms, depending on what suits them best. For people living with conditions like Parkinson's disease or dementia, the staff have extra training, and there are speech and occupational therapists who come to help when needed. Meals follow menus set by a dietitian, and there's a focus on food that's easy to handle for people with dementia. You can find a bistro, a snack shop, a communal kitchen, and even massage and pharmacy services on site. The grounds are secure day and night, so everyone stays safe, and you'll find lush gardens and quiet spots to relax.

Wi-Fi covers the buildings, there's transportation for groceries and appointments, and staff will help with things like scheduling bathroom reminders or getting to the doctor. People who live here also get help with things that come up from day to day, and case managers check on how folks are doing. There's a parking area for visitors or residents who need it. The homes never hold more than six people each, which keeps things feeling close-knit and manageable. Princeville Senior Care doesn't make promises it can't keep, but it does play an important role for seniors and families who need a safe, caring environment with a focus on individualized support.
