    About Mel's TLC

Mel's TLC sits in a regular neighborhood in Mesa at 6842 East Posada Circle, and the place only has room for five residents, so everybody gets personal attention and the staff really know who lives there, and you'll find the houses clean, safe, and cozy-not at all like a big facility. Mel's TLC covers all sorts of care, from independent living where folks can keep their own routine but get help with meals, housekeeping, and even their medications if needed, to more hands-on assisted living with support for daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and moving around, and if someone needs advanced care, they handle skilled nursing too, like wound care, incontinence care, and diabetic monitoring, and they keep nurses and caregivers around day and night so nobody's left alone when they need help. Memory care's another service, and the house stays secure to keep people with Alzheimer's and dementia safe from wandering, and they have programs and activities to help memory and keep the mind active. For anybody recovering from illness or injury, rehab services are right there, too. Meals get made for everyone and if someone's got a special diet, even diabetes, that's covered-same goes for allergies or restrictions, and every meal is prepared fresh in the home kitchen. Each resident lives in a fully furnished room, all with private baths, and there's a dining room plus common spaces inside for chatting or watching TV, with organized activities every day so folks can stay social and active if that's what they want, and outside, a garden and relaxing outdoor spots give a bit of fresh air and quiet, with easy access for everyone. Pets are welcome at Mel's TLC, even providing their own boarding services, grooming, and special care for different sizes or breeds, and the place is set up to keep pets comfortable and safe, which is unusual in this sort of home, so families with animals can breathe a sigh of relief. Housekeeping, laundry, and moving help come standard, and with transport set up for doctor visits and outings, getting around isn't a worry. The home is an Arizona licensed Assisted Living Home-directed facility and does long-term care too, but they don't accept Medicare unless certified by the right agency. Everything revolves around keeping things comfortable, calm, and as independent as possible, while giving peace of mind to families who need to know their loved one gets care that fits them and not just everyone as a group.
