    Friendly staff, aging facility concerns

    I liked the staff - they were friendly, helpful and my relative settled in quickly; activities and meals were good and there's a real community feel. But the building is older with small, nursing-home-style rooms, limited/poorly kept common space, and it felt crowded and noisy. Clinical support and responsiveness worried me (turnover, inexperienced techs, shaky transfers and poor phone/on-call handling). Bottom line: great people and programming, but an aging facility that I wouldn't trust for higher medical needs.
